If you are a dog lover and have a profound appreciation for dogs you will want to bring your dog with you.
That being said, it may be hard for you to leave your four-legged friend home when you’re out exploring. Some city beaches in Ventura County do not allow dogs on the beach. The city of Port Hueneme does not allow dogs on the beach. 

If you were wondering, Ventura is an extremely dog-friendly city where you can experience the beach, as well as various restaurants, alongside your precious pet.

Paws and relax at the beach or at the park. Spend the dog days of summer at Surfer’s Point, Marina Park, or Harbor Cove. Many Ventura beaches and parks invite dogs to join in on the seaside scenery. You can walk your dog all over the beach and even the pier. Just make sure to leash and clean up after your loved one, and you’re good to go!
